The late, great scientist Stephen Jay Gould knew that learning how to make sound judgments was the key to avoiding becoming a victim of those who seek to manipulate. He also knew that merely following hope was dangerous. I think Gould would have agreed with my thesis that hope is not an investment strategy. To succeed in growing your money, it’s imperative that you cultivate the tools for making sound judgments.
