On Truth and Memory

“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.”

--Mark Twain

These words to live by from the prolific author actually have direct relevance to the financial markets. You see, when you’re out there making calls about the future direction of stocks, the only thing that you can do is tell the truth as you see it and then wait to see if reality confirms your thesis. I’m proud to say that my family has been right on the markets many more times than we’ve been wrong. More importantly, when we get it right, it usually saves investors from a whole lot of losses -- and that’s definitely something worthy of remembering.
