Today is December 7, 2011, which means it’s been 70 years since the United States entered into World War II. I’ve had the privilege of knowing quite a few veterans from that era, and though most of these brave men and women are no longer with us, their valorous action in the service of freedom is something we must all keep firmly ensconced in our memories. Here’s to the greatest generation, and the legacy of liberty they so valiantly delivered us all.
