On Thursday, July 7, we held our latest teleseminar, titled Mid-Year Review and Market Outlook. In this seminar, we talked about how investors should position their portfolios for what promises to be a tumultuous second half of an already challenging year.
This teleseminar had a special focus on equity income investing, and how investors can use exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to generate big yields. In recent years, there’s been an explosion in the number of targeted financial products designed to deliver big dividends, high yields and big potential capital appreciation to income investors. These ETFs, when used correctly, can be powerful weapons in the income investor’s arsenal.
During this one-hour teleseminar, we covered the following key points:
• A recap of the financial markets in the first half of 2011. What’s worked, and what hasn’t.
• How to read the price trends in the markets, and what they are telling us.
• What investment themes I believe represent the best opportunities in the second half of 2011.
• What the end of the Fed’s “QE II” means for your fixed-income portfolio.
• How to diversify your income portfolio using equity income funds.
• Plus much, much more…
The feedback we’ve received from teleseminar attendees was so great, that we decided to post a replay of this event on our website. If you didn’t get a chance to attend live, then I invite you to check out the audio replay of the event by clicking here.
